The central Florida/Orlando area has been chosen for many things. Rightly so, due to warm weather year round, gorgeous oak canopies, expansive freshwater lakes, and its southern sweet-tea-on-the-front-porch hometown feel. But long before Walt chose Orlando for Disney World, the Baldwin Park area was host to one of a few places in the US for a Naval Training Center.

When it was decided the training center would close, a group of citizens worked closely with City Administration on the best plan for the enormous area. The charm and beauty of the natural landscape, along with its proximity to downtown, made it ideal for residential and commercial building.

Baldwin Park was born in the early 2000’s from the best ideas in planning and building. A picture perfect design with the look and feel of Central Florida at its best. The architecture is replete with colonial style homes, dotted with a dash of Spanish influence, which is found throughout the Sunshine State. Dormer windows, second-floor terraces, shutters, and picket fences are just a few of the charming details in this lush area.

Large freshwater lakes and sidewalks throughout the neighborhood add to this Florida lifestyle enclave which offers up single family homes, condos, and townhouses. Residents have easy access from their front door to shopping, dining, and parks, and neighbors come together for planned events all year. And, four-legged residents love Lake Baldwin Park where they can roam and romp leash free.

Every neighborhood kid knows why Orlando Weekly chose Baldwin Park as one of the three best places in the state for trick or treating. With everything planned to be within walking distance, not one piece of candy is left behind!

With plenty of sizes and styles from which to choose any size family can find exactly what they need here. Whether it’s a condo, townhome, or expansive lakefront home, Baldwin Park has done Orlando urban living just right.
